Our operations

The Department of Plastic and Maxillofacial Surgery consists of five subject areas; general plastic surgery, microsurgery, craniofacial surgery, maxillofacial surgery, and burn care. On 85F2, we care for patients from all these areas. We care for patients of all ages. We also provide national highly specialized care. Therefore, we can guarantee that you as a nursing student will learn a lot in the role of a nursing assistant with us. The care we provide is often described as positive and educational.

Your mission

As a nursing assistant with us on 85F2, you will become part of our wonderful team! With us, you will have close collaboration with the nurses by performing specific medical care under their guidance and support. After an individually tailored introduction, you will work under the supervision of a licensed nurse with tasks including medication management, dressing changes of central lines, sample collections, and IV insertions, as well as admissions and discharges.

Your task is to work together with the nurses and have the opportunity to develop in your upcoming professional career (all under guidance and support). You will not have your own patient responsibility.

Your qualifications

You are a nursing student and will have completed semester 4 by the summer.

Your skills

You are interested in highly specialized care and curious about your upcoming profession and see an opportunity to prepare for it by working with specific care together with the responsible nurse during the summer. You are an engaged and positive colleague who contributes to a good working environment. You always put the patient in focus and are responsible in your work. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

We offer

We offer you to work as a summer substitute. Unless otherwise agreed, the position will involve day, evening, and in some cases weekend shifts. Start date according to agreement. There is also the possibility of continued hourly employment in the fall.
